About Me:
I was born in Atlanta, Georgia and spent the entirety of my life there. Throughout my freshman year, I studied psychology at Huntingdon College. This is where I also played basketball. My sophomore year I decided to venture out to Auburn University, where I will be receiving an Undergraduate Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Science with a Minor in Non-Profit and Philanthropy Studies. Human Development and Family Science focuses on growth and forming relationships throughout our lives, as well as the dynamics between families and the world. This is the study of people who love helping other people.

Growing up with a brother who had Leukemia, I was almost always in and out of hospitals. This is what sparked my interest in working with hospitalized children, as well as their families. After lots of volunteering with children in and out of hospitals, and working with kids at school programs, I knew HDFS was the right field for me. Focusing more towards the non-profit area, I hope to bring cheer to hospitalized kids, as well as their families, like so many programs did for my family.

Over the next five years, my short-term goals consist of completing an internship with a non-profit focused out of Atlanta, Georgia, graduating from Auburn in December 2023, and getting a job working with Lighthouse Family Retreat. Post five-years, I hope to change many lives, to be successful at my job and to be finishing up my Masters in Counseling at the University of Georgia.
